What Are Tasks?
Tasks are jobs you schedule for your agent to run at a specific time. Unlike automations (which react to events or run on intervals), tasks are explicitly scheduled — you pick the date, time, and what the agent should do.
Creating Tasks
- 1Go to the Tasks section in your agent's config panel.
- 2Click "+" and select a frequency: Once, Daily, Weekly, or Custom Days.
- 3Write a task description (e.g., "Send me a summary of today's emails").
- 4Select the date and time for the task to run.
- 5Click Create — your task is scheduled.
Include the output destination in your task description. For example: "Search for unread emails and send me a summary via Slack in #daily-updates."
Recurring Tasks
For recurring tasks, you have several options:
- •Daily — Runs every day at the specified time.
- •Weekly — Select specific days of the week (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
- •Custom Days — Pick any combination of days for the task to repeat.
All times are in your configured timezone. You can view and manage all scheduled tasks from the Tasks page in the sidebar (calendar view).
Tasks with Multiple Accounts
If your agent has multiple accounts connected for the same app, the task creation form shows an account selector. You can choose one or more accounts — a separate task will be created for each selected account.
For example, if you have 2 Gmail accounts and select both, the task runs twice at the scheduled time — once for each account.
