What is Gyld?
Gyld is an AI agent platform that lets you create, configure, and deploy intelligent assistants that connect to your business tools. Each AI agent can read and write emails, manage calendars, update CRM records, post to Slack, and much more — all through natural conversation.
Think of each agent as a team member with access to your apps. You give them instructions, connect the apps they need, and they handle the work. You can chat with them directly, schedule them to run tasks on a recurring basis, or deploy them to Slack, Discord, or Teams so your whole team can use them.
Key Concepts
Agent
An AI assistant configured with specific instructions, connected apps, and a chosen AI model.
App
A third-party integration like Gmail, Slack, Notion, or Shopify. Apps provide tools (actions) that agents can use.
Tool
A specific action within an app. For example, Gmail has tools for sending email, searching, creating drafts, and managing labels.
Skill
Reusable instructions or knowledge that agents reference when working. Think of them as guidelines or SOPs.
Automation
An event-driven or scheduled workflow. When something happens (new email, Slack message) or on a schedule, the agent takes action.
Task
A one-time or recurring job scheduled for a specific time. The agent runs the task and reports back.
Credits
The currency used for agent actions. Each tool call and AI response costs credits based on complexity.
Deployment
Publishing an agent to Slack, Discord, or Teams so your team can chat with it directly in those platforms.
Quick Start Guide
Get your first AI agent up and running in under 5 minutes:
- 1Navigate to Agents in the sidebar and click "Create" to make a new agent.
- 2Give your agent a name and write instructions describing what it should do (e.g., "You manage my Gmail inbox. Summarize new emails and draft responses.").
- 3Click the Apps section and add the apps your agent needs (e.g., Gmail).
- 4Go to the Apps page in the sidebar and connect your account for each app (OAuth login).
- 5Return to your agent and start chatting — ask it to perform tasks using the connected apps.
You can also start from a prebuilt agent template on the Agents page. These come pre-configured with optimized instructions and the right apps already selected.
