Deployments

What Are Deployments?

Deployments let you publish your agent to external messaging platforms so your whole team can interact with it. Instead of using the Gyld chat interface, your team can talk to the agent directly in Slack, Discord, or Microsoft Teams.

Deploy to Slack

  1. 1Open your agent's config panel and go to the Deployments section.
  2. 2Click "+ Deployment" and select Slack.
  3. 3Authorize the Gyld Slack app in your workspace.
  4. 4Select which channel(s) the bot should be active in.
  5. 5Your agent appears as a bot in your Slack workspace, ready to respond to messages.

Deploy to Discord

  1. 1Click "+ Deployment" and select Discord.
  2. 2Authorize the bot in your Discord server.
  3. 3Select the server and channel.
  4. 4The agent joins your Discord server as a bot.

Deploy to Microsoft Teams

  1. 1Click "+ Deployment" and select Microsoft Teams.
  2. 2Authorize in your Teams organization.
  3. 3Select the team and channel.
  4. 4The agent is available as a Teams bot.

Managing Deployments

  • Active toggle — Enable or disable a deployment without removing it.
  • Edit — Change the target channel or platform settings.
  • Delete — Remove the deployment entirely. The bot will leave the platform.
  • Each deployment shows the platform icon, destination, and active status.
