DocsMultiple Accounts

Multiple Accounts

Why Multiple Accounts?

You may need to connect multiple accounts for the same app — for example, a work Gmail and a personal Gmail, or multiple Slack workspaces. Gyld supports unlimited connected accounts per app.

Adding Accounts

To add another account for an app you've already connected, go to the Apps page, click on the app, and click Add Account. Follow the same OAuth flow with a different login. Each account gets its own display name so you can tell them apart.

Selecting Accounts

When an agent has access to multiple accounts for the same app, you can choose which account it should use:

  • In the agent's app settings — Click the app and select the default account for that agent.
  • In task creation — When scheduling tasks, an account selector appears letting you pick which account(s) to use. Selecting multiple accounts creates a separate task for each.
  • In automations — Triggers can monitor specific accounts (e.g., only watch your work Gmail, not personal).
  • In chat — If multiple accounts are connected, the agent will use the selected default. You can switch accounts from the header.

Shared Mailboxes

For Outlook, Gyld supports shared mailboxes (e.g., support@company.com, sales@company.com). Once your main Outlook account is connected, you can add shared mailboxes that your account has access to. The agent will send emails from the shared mailbox address when working with it.
